Holds a Second Class (Upper Division) Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.
An MBA in Marketing Management from the Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo, Lagos and a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Sales from ISMM, UK.
Wasiu is an experienced Marketing Communication practitioner with over 19 years working experience in Brand Building and Marketing Communication Management
Prior to joining Nigerian Breweries in 2010, he had worked in some of the Nation’s finest advertising agencies- Mart Link Advertising, USP Communications, Rosabel Leo Burnett, mediaReach OMD and Universal Mc Cann.
Joined Nigerian Breweries in 2010 as Marketing Media Manager. Rose steadily to become Head of Media, Digital and Sponsorship for the Nation’s No 1 Brewing company in 2016.
He is a member of the Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) of Nigerian Breweries Plc, Professional membership of ISMM UK, PAMRO, APCON, NIM and NIMN, Lecturer and Examiner for APCON Professional Examinations from 2005- 2013.
He had served as a Resource person in several trainings organized by virtually all Advertising sectoral bodies in Nigeria.
Widely traveled and highly respected in the Nigerian Advertising Industry for his professionalism and quest for knowledge.
Has attended several Marketing management and Business Leadership Trainings locally and Abroad.
He is happily married with 3 Kids- A daughter and 2 Boys
