It should be about your customer, by providing the services, the solutions, the products that make a difference, in their life, environment and society.
Sustainability is not just a word it’s a lifestyle. Make it fashionable in MARKETING IN A DIGITAL AFRICA and brands would win. Sustainability just like Brands is about actions today, consequences occurring tomorrow. I would be telling you why building sustainable brands in a digital Africa is not about coping and pasting practices or products from outside the continent, it’s all about home grown solutions for better products.
You are not an environmental activist, Create better products, Give your customers strong reasons to believe in your stated BRAND benefits and help them to become SUSTAINBILITY change AGENTS rather than celebrate your brand as the hero.
Be a marketer who are able to actually market a better future, don’t just be someone who wants his or her brand to be a sustainability champion.
