Jeweller takes its store experience online

In response to the closure of their retail stores, jeweller Ideal transformed its sales associates into live-streamers overnight. Every employee was put in charge of a virtual store and, through a partnership with retail service provider YouZan, they were able to sell products natively through WeChat. Ideal has subsequently upgraded its existing online business learning courses to train its sales associates in eCommerce and is utilising the short video platform Douyin to drive traffic to the virtual stores.
